Fifth Down is a private pick’em app for small groups of friends. It is not a business, it sells nothing, and it has no interest in your data beyond running your league.

What it stores

• Your email address. It is how you sign in and how your account is identified. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your address, Apple gives us a relay address instead and we never see your real one.
• A name you choose to be known by, shown to the other players in your league. It does not have to be your real one.
• A college team, if you pick one, shown as your badge.
• Your picks, and the results worked out from them.
• Which leagues you belong to.
• An account identifier, generated when you sign up, which ties the above together.

What it does not do

• No advertising, and no ad networks.
• No analytics or tracking, in the app or on the website.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
• No payments. The app keeps score; any money among friends is settled between them, outside the app.
• No location, contacts, photos, or microphone access.

Who can see what

Your picks stay hidden from everyone else until each game kicks off, so nobody can copy them. After kickoff they are visible to the other players in your league, along with your name, badge and record. Nothing is public: people outside your league see nothing at all.

The person who runs your league can see the email addresses of its players. They cannot change them, and they cannot sign in as you.

Where it lives

Data is held by Supabase, which hosts the database, and the site is served by Vercel. Game schedules, point spreads and scores come from CollegeFootballData and ESPN; those requests are made by our server, not by your device, so neither is told anything about you.

Deleting it

You can leave a league at any time from the League tab. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email austinmwinters@gmail.com and it will be removed.

Children

Fifth Down is rated 18+ and is not intended for anyone under 18.
